Integrated Compliance Specialist

Job title: Integrated Compliance Specialist Reports to: Integrated Compliance manager Job Description The Integrated Compliance Specialist is part of the Integrated Compliance (IC) team, which reports to the Head of Compliance. The IC team supports the Head of Compliance in the management of compliance risks mainly through the coordination of Group programmes and the implementation of common methodologies across the various Compliance Function teams. The team proactively interacts with 1LoD and 2LoD units in ING Italy, other Integrated Compliance teams in ING and functionally with Rest of the World (RoW) Integrated Compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide support to the Integrated Compliance Manager / the IC team in the assigned activities, allowing for functional steering and taking responsibility when delegated in following specific / special activities: Management/coordination of cross-functional exercises/processes required by the Group as part of the Compliance Risk Management Cycle. Addressing mandatory regulatory reporting by coordinating all internal stakeholders and challenging/reviewing their contribution. Drafting internal reports to local committees and the Group functional line, facilitating the collection of data and information from internal stakeholders and ensuring effective communication. Supporting the Head of Compliance in managing the Whistleblowing internal control framework. Planning, budgeting and developing of cross-functional activities and liaison with Compliance teams. Actively participate in One Compliance (NEXT) initiatives to contribute new ideas and promote local best practices for the continuous development of the Compliance function. Qualifications and Requirements 2 years experience in compliance risk management activities. University degree or equivalent. Excellent level of English (verbal/written). Strong skills of critical analysis of data and information. Sufficient technical background to understand and steer data flows and assess risks.
