At KPMG, you will have the opportunity to help clients, the firm and colleagues address and solve the most current and complex challenges. The tax and legal experts at KPMG Studio Associato provide assistance in all the key tax and corporate law areas, offering innovative, integrated services. In particular, by joining the Deal Advisory M&A Tax Team of our Milan office, you will help support clients in addressing challenges related to key areas of taxation. You will operate in a constantly evolving scenario, where national and international regulations intertwine with market and public opinion expectations on crucial topics such as ethics, transparency, and corporate governance. Specifically you will be tasked with: Tax due diligence reviews of extraordinary transactions (mergers, demergers, acquisitions, contributions, etc); Corporate restructuring; Analyses of the treatment of extraordinary transactions according to national accounting standards (OIC) and international ones (IAS/IFRS); National and International tax opinions; Applications for tax rulings; Preparation of corporate income tax returns (Modello Unico and Modello IRAP). You will be involved in national and international projects, working alongside highly qualified professionals and acquiring top-level skills through interaction with the brightest minds in the field. Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics This is the perfect opportunity for you if you have: 3-5 years of professional experience at International Law Firms, the Big Four and/or Advisory Firms; A master’s degree in Economics (LM-77 or LM-56) or Law (LMG-01), with a final grade of at least 100/110; The intention to pursue the professional practice as a Chartered Accountant or Lawyer; A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
