Automation Engineer Sr.

Automation Engineer For our Grifols in Parets, we are looking for an Automation Engineer . This is a key hire for the successful implementation of a newly introduced equipment. We are seeking a professional with strong expertise and proven technical leadership skills. Main Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation projects. Advanced knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens AWL Step7 . Hands-on experience with the commissioning of new machines/lines, troubleshooting, and process validation. Desirable: knowledge of Rockwell and Zenon SCADA systems. Additional Skills (highly valued for this project): Experience in the integration of equipment within GMP/pharma or other highly regulated environments. Ability to prepare technical documentation and contribute to qualification processes (IQ/OQ). Strong team-player mindset to collaborate across engineering, maintenance, production, and quality teams. Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to liaise with external suppliers. This role will be essential in ensuring the successful start-up, optimization, and validation of the new machine, bringing expertise in both programming and systems integration . Location: Parets (Barcelona Area) Travelling may not be requiered at the begining but we need flexible travelling according the project is moving on -international-.
