Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12. Drivers License. National Certificate in Electrical Engineering: NQF Level 3 Safety requirements in storage and handling chemicals Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is highly advantageous. Proficiency in ERP system, Syspro advantageous. (Receipting of goods) Intermediary knowledge in Ms Office packages (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook etc.) Personal Attributes Ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation. Responsible for accuracy of Equipment Maintenance Book and associated administration. Prepare and submit Picking Sheets, Supplier Invoices etc.in the agreed format, on time. Ensure compliance with standard operating policies and procedures (including quality controls) Communicate proficiently, verbally and in writing, in official business language English Ensure full compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and company policy & procedures. Wear required PPE in designated areas. Operate all machinery in full accordance with instructions and safety precautions. Immediately report any non-compliance via the Health & Safety Officers Key Performance Areas: Responsible for the management of the equipment (and components) stock to install equipment on-site. Receive Picking Sheets provided by the Reps/Technicians for equipment. Verify equipment against customer order and requirements. Pick stock, marking against the Picking Sheet, and update the manual stock control sheet. Prepare equipment, including wiring for pumps etc., to enable it to be installed on-site by the technician. Once order has been picked completely, order must be checked/verified, before document handed to the Sales Administrator for invoicing and goods handed to Installation Technician/Sales Rep for delivery to customer. Responsible for receiving stock from third party supplier, checking each product corresponds to Supplier Invoice. Ensures quality and quantity of equipment/stock, notify the Buyer if there are any defects or errors with delivery. Pack all received equipment on the designated shelf, rotating stock to manage First In, First Out principles. Visual monitoring of stock levels, advising the Buyer when products running low to allow for timeous ordering. Liaise with the Buyer by advising what stock needs to be ordered (manual order book) Liaise with reps to understand the equipment and associated component requirements for the client, advising technically where necessary. Provides support and technical mentorship to the installation technicians. Receives all components and puts together Handwash alarm to create a finished product for sale to customers. Receive all returned equipment and assess to determine whether it can be refurbished or should be disposed of. Ensure accurate record of returned equipment, customer details, etc. to manage stock in/out. Conduct the repairs and refurbishment (electrical/pumps). Ensure that accurate records are kept of all repairs conducted, swap out of components etc. This is done manually in Equipment Maintenance Book which is then shared with administration team to update stock electronically. Receive any faulty equipment to assess and repair, before returning to customer. Continuous monitoring of the area for safety and ensuring housekeeping to minimise safety hazards. Conducts stock take once per quarter, or as required. Safeguard and take care of company assets, including vehicle and tools. Monitor vehicle/tools and advise if there are any issues, for rectification.
