System Analyst

Key Responsibilities: Translate business needs into technical designs, system workflows, and integration models Design and document end-to-end system processes, data structures, and component interactions Develop clear, detailed functional specifications for the development team Collaborate with QA and developers throughout the development lifecycle to ensure delivery matches specifications Conduct system impact assessments and ensure seamless integration between components Support root cause analysis by reviewing system logs, API traffic, and database queries Maintain accurate documentation of system architecture, logic, and configurations Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards and design practices Stay up to date on platform architecture, integrations, and third-party services such as payment gateways, credit bureaus, and mobile operators What We're Looking For: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field 36 years experience in systems analysis, functional design, or solution architecture Strong understanding of API design, system integrations, and data flow modelling Proficient in writing SQL queries to validate data, logic, and system behaviour Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Postman, Miro (or equivalents) Familiarity with Agile software development practices and cross-functional collaboration Clear communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical discussions Bonus: Exposure to lending platforms, financial services, or fintech integrations (e.g., credit bureaus, mobile wallets, payment systems).
