Job Title: Branch Manager – Nelspruit Location: Nelspruit Job Type: Full-time, In-Office Working Hours : 07H00 – 17H00 Contract Type: Permanent An exciting opportunity awaits a results-driven and detail-oriented Branch Manager in the logistics industry based in Rocky’s Drift, Nelspruit. Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to oversee the operations of their Nelspruit branch. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in road freight and logistics, demonstrating leadership skills, strategic thinking and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of services. Coordinate and optimize the use of resources, including vehicles, personnel and equipment. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure and accident-free work environment. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting teamwork and accountability. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services. Identify opportunities for business expansion and collaborate with the sales team to secure new clients. Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner. Financial Management: Develop and manage the branch budget, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost saving opportunities. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and invoicing processes. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high service standards. Conduct regular audits to assess and improve operational efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: Grade 12 / Matric Qualification non-negotiable. Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field an advantage. Proven experience in road freight and logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office Remuneration: R40 000.00 CTC per month – Depending on experience Benefits: Medical Aid Subsidy. Provident fund. Death and Disability Cover.
