Data Scientist

Our client, a leader in Mining / Minerals Processing Engineering, is currently looking for a Data Scientist to join their team. This role reports to the Division Manager. Requirements: · 13 years' experience in a data science environment · Experience within the mining and mineral processing or supply chain industry preferred · Strong technical skills across: · Data Engineering (SQL, Microsoft Fabric, ETL/ELT pipelines, Kimball modelling, data ingestion, Data Gateways, SQL Server/PostgreSQL) · Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics (Python, Scikit-learn, ARIMA/Prophet/LSTM, RUL prediction, Azure ML deployment) · Business Intelligence (Power BI, DAX, M Code, ad hoc analysis, root cause analysis) · Cloud & Web App Development (REST APIs, Azure App Services advantageous) · Inventory & Supply Chain Analytics (demand planning, EOQ, ABC analysis advantageous) · Ability to communicate insights effectively and engage with multiple stakeholders · Must demonstrate experience applying data-driven solutions in a professional environment Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to it.jobs@tumaini.co.za .
