Embedded Systems Engineer

Seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of stable, maintainable, and flexible firmware systems. Key Requirements · Minimum 5 years work experience (or equivalent) in embedded software development · Advanced understanding of embedded firmware and RTOS usage (Zephyr RTOS experience a bonus · Strong Embedded C & C++ skills · Ability to solve vaguely defined problems with detailed feature designs, mostly unsupervised, with architecture review · Experience mentoring junior engineers · Understanding of electronics and hardware debugging, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and surface mount soldering · Experience with agile software development, Git, and CI/CD pipelines · Experience with ESP32S3 is a plus · Leadership experience or potential is highly value · Bonus if an updated Git repository or previous work samples can be shared Should you meet the requirements for this position, please email your CV to it.jobs@mspstaffing.co.za.
