Job Description

Requirements: Relevant financial qualifications CA (SA) qualification will be to your advantage Agriculture industry experience is an advantage Willingness to travel from time to time. Responsibilities: Convene and run monthly financial reporting meeting executive summary, variance reporting, vehicle repairs/maintenance/replacement schedule and capex reporting. Review and submission of tax returns. Company secretarial work: Minute taking CIPC updates and compliance KYC Record keeping Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards national and international interests. Manage weekly and monthly payments. Review of audit files. Liaising with external auditors to ensure company compliance with all aspects of the audits. Review and implementation of internal controls. Managing departmental staff. This includes traveling to production units. Continuous upkeep, evaluation and improvement of financial systems and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. Includes applicable 3rd party software. Management and control of: Legal agreements, including shareholder agreements, marketing agreements, production loan agreements, packing agreements, rental agreements, acquisition agreements, etc. Credit applications and maintaining adequate credit limit levels. Asset finance Assets-all-risks and Marine Insurance renewals and claims. Transfer Pricing Document(s) update. Bankers compliance certificates. SARB approvals. Investigating government grant opportunities. Administrative involvement and applicable mentoring in black empowerment employees trusts.
