Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Monterrey, N.L. (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) Employment type: Direct Hire – Full-time, with all benefits required by Mexican law Salary range: Competitive and negotiable based on experience Language: Bilingual (Advanced English – excellent verbal and written communication skills required) About the Role We’re seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure. This role ensures security across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed security into every layer of the cloud stack. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, also Azure, GCP, OCI). Implement and monitor security configurations, IAM, and compliance standards. Automate security workflows with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Support incident response, threat assessment, and remediation efforts. Collaborate with engineers and vendors to ensure security best practices. Skills & Experience 1-2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, with exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI. Strong knowledge of Linux & Windows environments. Experience with CSPM tools (Wiz preferred), Terraform/CloudFormation. Familiarity with DevOps (Git, Azure DevOps), Docker/Kubernetes, and monitoring tools (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Datadog). Knowledge of security frameworks (PCI, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
