The Role: We are seeking Facility Logistics Supervisors to be based on the company's offshore platforms. This position may, from time to time, also require incumbents to work at the Houston Office location. As the Facility Logistics Supervisor , you will be a self-starter with a solution-oriented mentality to help guide our team towards being a learning organization through defect elimination and continuous improvement. What you will do: Embracing and encouraging a safety culture that results in Zero harm to people, the facility or the Company’s reputation. Be an integral part of the site leadership and support the development and execution strategies towards world class, safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations Manage logistics, dispatch reports, manifest lists, and material requisitions Manage offshore helicopter, marine and ground transportation operations Arranging logistics and transport for personnel movement Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations within freight forwarders agents and/or packing companies by coordinating with international buyers, VSI’s, internal users & quality inspection coordinators to coordinate the delivery of material and goods. Analyze and optimize logistical procedures and develop processes for better efficiency. Maintain day to day relations with the organization on Supply Chain related topics. Understand local/regional warehouse and storage strategies to optimize cost. Manage all materials on and off assigned facility to support the various functions. Supervise catering, housekeeping, and general services contract staff on the facility. What you bring: Available to work offshore on a 21/21 rotation schedule on FLNG facilities 5 years of experience at a Supervisory level or higher managing company or contract staff. 5 years hands on experience in a Logistics or Facility Supervisory role. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Ability to lead and motivate contract support personnel to create a culture of safety and excellence. Knowledge of managing all types of transportation (Land, Ocean, Air) Understanding of documents for international shipment and customs. Highly driven, forward thinker and problem-solver; impeccable integrity and a strong personal work ethic. Experience managing logistics for an offshore operation. Experience in supply chain management a plus. Work Conditions : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, work at height above ground on stairs and catwalks, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear, smell, type and write. Must be able to board a ship via a gangway, climb to the top of a tank (200 steps), scale vertical steel ladder up to forty feet or more in height and lift and move objects weighing up to 30 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work indoors & outdoors, and be exposed to year-around weather conditions, ocean environment, and noise. There is a considerable number of outdoor activities involved. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Required to pass regularly scheduled physical examinations mandated by regulatory authorities. Required to obtain mandated certification by attending Company-sponsored training in basic first aid, CPR, AED & LNG firefighting.
