Job Description

Main Resposabilities Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation. Collects, researches, evaluates and presents information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, manufacturing problems, and design and development of new products for consideration by other members of management team. Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing market opportunities. Works with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures and goals. Develops initial and subsequent modifications of Design Quality Assurance program to delineate areas of control, personnel requirements and operational procedures within program. Conducts and participates in management meetings with design department heads to establish, delineate and review program organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish controls and procedures for attaining goals. Interface with customers on technical/quality issues and improvement initiatives. Reviews technical problems and procedures of departments and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures. Participates and manages the Design Site Corrective Action process. Confers with engineers about quality assurance of new products designed, and manufactured products on market to rectify problems. Reviews technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in industry. Requirements: Proven experience in the manufacturing and electronics industry. Strong knowledge of assembly processes. BA/BS degree. Hands-on experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and high-volume production projects. Previous leadership experience managing medium-sized teams of technicians and auditors across multiple shifts. Familiarity with ERP systems. Solid understanding of quality tools and methodologies, including PFMEA, Control Plans, and 8D problem-solving Advanced English level. Strong attention to customer requirements and quality standards Proven experience in monitoring and analyzing Quality KPIs. Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
