Maintenance Superintendent

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to join us in León, Guanajuato Mexico . Position Objective Define and manage the plant’s maintenance strategy, in order to ensure the availability and operational continuity of the plant’s equipment and facilities. Responsibilities General: Identify hazards and risks associated with maintenance activities, as well as environmental aspects and impacts. Ensure the development of personnel under your supervision, validating that they possess the necessary skills and technical competencies for their roles, and that they comply with preventive health campaigns and medical check-ups as defined by the organization. Ensure the implementation of preventive maintenance programs for all plant assets. Specific: Lead analysis to determine critical equipment within the plant, identify key operational issues, and develop a work plan to eliminate them from the root cause. Lead audits and any required by government or non-government institutions. Identify, request, and allocate necessary resources for maintenance activities to meet the operational standards for plant assets. Prepare and propose the maintenance operating budget to keep equipment and facilities in optimal working condition, in accordance with company policies. Request and manage CAPEX funding to improve the performance of equipment and facilities. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager , managing both unionized and non-unionized personnel. Professional degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electronic, or Mechatronics). Experience managing contractors Maintenance experience in extrusion, injection molding, or tooling plants . Project experience (including use of CAPEX and SAP). Strong leadership skills, Critical thinking, planning, analytical thinking, communication skills, impact and influence, negotiation skills. Advanced English proficiency.
