Job Description Job Description Remote Law & Motion Attorney – California Bar Required A well-established California-based civil litigation firm is seeking a skilled Law & Motion Attorney to join its team on a fully remote basis. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters in a collaborative and flexible environment. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in California and have a minimum of two years of motion practice experience. Key Responsibilities: Draft and oppose motions, including demurrers, motions to quash, motions to strike, and motions for relief Prepare and respond to discovery, including written requests and document demands Develop and negotiate stipulations, settlements, and related agreements Support trial preparation with briefs, witness lists, motions in limine, and related documents Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis to clients and team members Maintain regular communication with clients and support case development Make occasional court appearances as necessary Minimum Qualifications: Juris Doctor and active California Bar license Minimum 2 years of post-bar civil litigation experience Proficiency in legal research and writing Familiarity with California civil procedure and motion practice Experience conducting depositions Proficiency with Lexis or other legal research tools Preferred Qualifications: Admission to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California Experience using legal case management software Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $170,000, commensurate with experience Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) plan with employer contribution Paid vacation and sick leave This is a remote position open to California-licensed attorneys residing within the United States.
