Job Description Job Description Job Description: Dr. Kanwaljit Gill is looking for a full time front/back office Medical Assistant to join our practice. Clinical Duties: Answering phones Greet patients when they arrive Provide them with the necessary forms to fill out before their appointments Verify patients' insurance information Scheduling appointments. Take vital signs, weight, screening, and testing under the direction of a physician or Nurse Practitioner (EKG, Holter’s) Process clinical documentation using electronic medical record system while maintaining security compliance standards. Education: High school diploma or GED, MA Certification Experience: Prior experience in medical assisting is preferred. However, each application will be evaluated on its own merit. Performance Requirements: Creates a professional, friendly, and welcoming environment for patients Takes personal responsibility for accurate and timely execution of routine job duties Willingly accepts additional duties and/or projects as needed
