Business Analyst with Security Clearance

Position Summary The Business Analyst will play a critical role in legacy system modernization projects by bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. This position focuses on documenting business rules, data flows, and interface requirements, ensuring that modernization efforts align with business needs and data integrity. The analyst will also support testing activities. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business users and legacy system owners to gather and document business rules and functional requirements. Work with data teams to analyze and document data flows, including inbound and outbound interfaces. Define and maintain data mapping and transformation requirements for legacy-to-modern system transitions. Develop clear and comprehensive business and technical requirements. Partner with QA teams and business stakeholders to create use cases and test scenarios. Participate in UAT events, ensuring business needs are validated and issues are resolved. Participate in project meetings, contributing to planning, risk identification, and issue resolution. Support change management efforts by documenting impacts and assisting with communication strategies. Qualifications Strong analytical and documentation skills with a focus on data and systems integration. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in business process modeling and requirements management. Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and SQL is preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Experience 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst is required. Experience in data-centric or legacy modernization projects is preferred. Must have experience working with cross-functional teams including data engineers, testers, and business stakeholders. Also have a proven track record of supporting testing activities and facilitating UAT. Clearance Secret (Preferred)
