Pay Information $2,944 per week About The Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 17-18 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ED or ICU required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 2 years of ED or ICU experience Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work in the Interventional Radiology and Catheterization Lab. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit. The role involves on-call, weekend, and holiday requirements. Shifts are 4x10 hours from 07:00 to 17:30. The nurse will float between the Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab departments as needed. Weekend coverage is required every third weekend, though this may vary. The nurse will respond to urgent and emergent interventional procedural needs, such as those related to stroke, STEMI, and trauma. Candidates must possess BLS and ACLS certifications. On-call duties will be required during specific hours. Effective collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams is expected. Additional skills in various interventional procedures and monitoring are necessary. Strong patient assessment and procedural sedation management abilities are essential.
