Job Description
MaterialsPlanner Responsibleforplanningandschedulingofthematerialsrequiredtoexecutethemanufacturingplan.WorkswiththeMasterProductionSchedulerandsupplychaintotranslatethedemand(forecasts,salesorders,plannedorders)acrossmultipletimehorizonsintophysicalordersandensurestheyaredeliveredtomeetthecustomerrequirements. TheMRPPlannerisresponsibleforallocating,monitoring,andreleasingdemandtomakesurethatmaterialisavailabletomeettheProductionScheduleandCustomerdeliverables.TherolewillbepartourManufacturingPlanningTeam.Thisrolewilloverseeandmanagethematerialavailabilityforourmanufacturingfacility;identifyanypotentialrisksandmitigateanyproductiondowntime. Responsibilities: ReviewingtheERPsystemdaily,ensuringmaterialquantitiesareavailabletoexecutetheprojectasperBOM.ThisincludesconvertingERP(OracleASCP)suggestedrequirementsintopurchaserequisitions. SupportingMasterProductionSchedulertoensurematerialisavailabletomeetthemanufacturingplanorhighlightingrisksandleadtoissueresolution. Actingasaninterfacebetweentheprojectandprocurementteams,andproductionplanners,supportingalldepartmentsinordertominimiselossoftimeinManufacture. Analysingandmonitoringinventorylevelstoensurecontinuousmaterialflowtomanufacturingoperations,whilesupportingbusinesscashflowtargets. CoordinatingtheresolutionofproblemsandmaintainingtheASCPdatesthroughregularcommunicationwithProductionControlandMasterScheduler. ManagingdataqualityontheERPsystem. Tobesuccessfulinthisroleyouwill: HaveaHighSchoolDiplomawithprovenexperienceinMaterialPlanning HavepriorexperienceofMRP/ERPsystems,withdesiredexperiencewithOracleASCP HaveaKnowledgeofEngineeringBOMstructures Havecommunication,influencing,andorganizationalskills Havesoundcomputerskills:Outlook,Excel,PowerPointetc.
