Façade Designer – Hertfordshire

I’m working on behalf of a leading specialist subcontractor in the façades sector who are looking for an experienced Façade Designer to join their established design team in Watford. The business has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality façade and cladding solutions across London and the surrounding areas. With a strong pipeline of projects, they’re looking to expand their design capability. The Role: * Producing detailed façade and cladding designs from concept through to fabrication and installation * Working closely with project and contracts teams to ensure drawings meet client specifications and programme deadlines * Liaising with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve technical issues * Using CAD software to produce accurate design drawings and technical details The Candidate: * Previous experience as a Designer within façades, cladding, curtain walling, or rainscreen * Strong knowledge of building envelope systems * Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit or other 3D design software is a plus) * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage workload effectively * Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a collaborative team What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary package (dependent on experience) * Opportunity to work with a market leader on landmark projects * Supportive team environment with genuine career progression opportunities * Office based in Watford with easy access to London projects If you have façade design experience and would be interested in discussing this opportunity further, I’d be keen to hear from you
