Service Manager

We are currently partnered exclusively with a large engineering group, and I am hiring a Service / Operations Manager. I am looking for someone with a background in leading a service operation within an industrial environment (servicing customers in the power generation, petrochemical, oil & gas industries etc). Brief Overview of the role. The Service Manager oversees the operations, maintenance, and servicing of heat exchangers, ensuring efficient service delivery, customer satisfaction, and business growth. This role combines technical expertise with commercial management, leading service teams, optimising resources, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. With a focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence, the Service Manager drives profitability while upholding the company’s reputation as a trusted provider of heat exchange solutions. • Supervise the day-to-day operations of heat exchanger service departments. • Develop and implement service schedules, maintenance plans, and project timelines. • Ensure the execution of preventive maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of heat exchangers. • Oversee troubleshooting and diagnostics for heat exchanger performance issues. • Coordinate field service technicians and engineers for onsite inspections, installations, and repairs.
