Senior Business Analyst (Contract) An opportunity for a motivated, team player, with extensive experience and knowledge of Underwriting and Systems Experienced in commercial insurance programme management, with expertise in MGAs Working within a small, energetic, fast paced and collaborative team We are looking for a hands-on, proactive, solution driven candidate, with excellent communication skills and the ability to simultaneously handle multiple initiatives Key Skills An opportunity has arisen reporting to the Director of Product Management working on both Strategic change initiatives and BAU We are seeking a Commercial Insurance/London Market Business Analyst who can proactively work with business stakeholders The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and understanding of Underwriting, Insurance Operations, Data, Finance, Bordereaux and IT Underwriting & Salesforce experience preferred Must haves Extensive experience and knowledge of Underwriting and Systems Gather, analyse and validate of business requirements to an appropriate level of detail; propose solutions aligned to the clients strategic goals and ambitions Engage / collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across IT, Underwriting, Finance and Operations Liaise between Product Owners, Development Teams, Quality Assurance and Testing Identify change and agree scope Track delivery progress Manage requirements throughout the whole of the delivery lifecycle using the clients tools Negotiate if necessary acceptable best business outcome given constraints such as time and budget Identify gaps in existing system delivery and identify future requirements Create User Stories and Acceptance Criteria with detailed wireframes Test Features and User Stories once developed Utilise market knowledge to bring the art of the possible and creative thinking to solving business challenges
