This role is all about accuracy, accountability, and agility—balancing the details of financial statements, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and compliance. You'll work closely with the Regional Controller and General Manager to ensure financial clarity, while also supporting budget preparation, audits, and analysis that fuel smart decision-making. At Moxy, we believe finance isn't just about the numbers—it's about empowering the team, driving performance, and keeping the good vibes sustainable.WHO YOU ARE:Experience:Minimum 3 years in hospitality or an accounting positionOR a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with 3 years in hotel finance/accountingPreferred Extras:Experience with major brands (Marriott/Hilton/Accor/IHG/Hyatt)Strong knowledge of accounting policies and financial proceduresFlexible with working hours to meet deadlinesConfident communicator who inspires trust and collaborationBilingual (English/French)Pre-opening/opening experience (a big plus!)Familiarity with FOSSE, MICROS, Employer D, Adaco, and MS Office At Moxy, personality goes a long way. We're looking for someone who can balance precision with playfulness—keeping things professional while embracing the energy of our culture.WHAT YOU'LL DODaily Energy:Record and reconcile daily deposits, including credit cardsEnsure daily income is reviewed and corrected on a daily basisMonitor purchase orders, prepare payments, and keep things running smoothlyReview and follow up with department heads on accounting issuesJump into executive committee and department head meetings with insight and enthusiasmMonthly Flow:Maintain the complete accounting cycle in a centralized environmentVerify adjustments and promotional/meal accountsPerform routine follow-ups with customers, suppliers, department heads and the regional officeEnsure monthly inventory counts are completed in a timely manner, and costs meet budget benchmarksOther Moves:Support audits and ensure compliance standards are metAssist with payroll.
