I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent, on the Island of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll. I am looking for a Payroll Technician for a company in the sports & entertainment sector in the heart of downtown Montreal. This is a temporary position for a period of 4 to 6 months. Responsibilities* Full payroll cycle;* Produce payroll according to specific cycles;* Manage employee files;* Calculate retroactive or other special payments;* Respond to questions and requests from employees, managers, and external organizations regarding payroll data;* Verify timesheets and make corrections according to labor standards;* Complete various reports in Excel (submissions to governments, etc.);* Prepare records of employment;* Ensure compliance and integrity of information;* All other related tasks. Required Qualifications* DEC in accounting;* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position;* Experience in payroll production affected by collective agreements;* Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, proficient in Excel;* Rigorous and autonomous;* Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;* Analytical and synthetic skills;* Hold the "A.C.P." certification from the Canadian Payroll Association;* Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English.
