I am looking for a Financial Controller for my client in the Mile-End region. This is a permanent position, with a hybrid schedule (2 days working remotely and 3 days in the office). Your responsibilities:- Ensure the ongoing, rigorous, and compliant accounting management of all corporate entities, including:- Supervision of payables- Month-end/quarter-end/year-end processes and annual audit, including month-end adjustments.- Analyze financial results compared to budget- Meet tax requirements and deadlines, including the quality of government reporting:- Supervise consumption tax remittances and source deductions- Track tax collections- Manage communications/requests from various regulatory authorities (RQ, CRA, CNESST, etc.)- Manage tax return processes- Support managers in their decision-making- Involve in cash flow forecasting and review- Participate in the budget process Your profile- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting firm or business- Chartered Professional Accountant ("CPA") designation required- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office- Knowledge of the Google suite is an asset- Knowledge of Sage 300 is an asset- Fluent in French (oral and written) and knowledge of English (oral and written) - Ability to work in a team and communicate well
