We cover finance, accounting, and payroll positions.A dynamic and growing company specializing in residential and commercial property management is seeking a Property Accountant to manage a portfolio of buildings located across several regions in Canada and the United States. The incumbent will actively contribute to the financial management of the property portfolio, the production of financial statements, and the optimization of property performance.Key responsibilitiesAccounting and financial operationsOversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bookkeeping.Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with current accounting and tax standards.Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.Perform financial analyses to support strategic decisions.Monitor budgets, cash flow, and performance indicators.Supervise and support accounting staff as needed.Collaborate with internal partners to ensure smooth operations.Education and experienceDegree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in real estate or portfolio management.Technical skillsProficiency in Canadian accounting standards (CPAC and/or IFRS).Excellent knowledge of local tax obligations.Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software.Ability to produce and interpret detailed financial reports.Personal qualitiesHigh attention to detail and professional rigor.Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.Good communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.LanguagesBilingualism required for communication with the US (French and English).What we offerCollaborative and stimulating work environment.Direct access to management, promoting autonomy and initiative.Group insurance plan including medical, dental, and life insurance.Opportunities for professional development within a growing company.
