Financial Accountant

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to lead operational finance functions, manage a team, and support strategic financial planning. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Group Financial Manager with strategic and operational finance duties Oversee and manage foreign exchange transactions Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements Perform general ledger reconciliations and drive month-end close processes Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital optimisation Supervise the accounts payable function Lead and develop a small finance team, promoting best practice and accountability Minimum Requirements: CA(SA) qualification Minimum of 3 years commercial experience , post-articles Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modelling, etc.) Exposure to Sage X3 or a comparable ERP system Strong technical accounting and analytical skills Proven experience in a services-based industry preferred People management experience able to lead, mentor, and drive performance
