Job & Company Descriptions My client is looking for an experienced Operational Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in driving their companys financial success and supporting sustainable growth. This leadership position will form part of their Management Committee (ManCo) and oversee key financial operations while ensuring full compliance with legal and internal standards. As an Operational Finance Manager you will be responsible for the following: Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the companys financial planning through effective budgeting, forecasting, and alignment with long-term business strategy. Financial Operations Management: Oversee daily financial functions, ensure robust internal controls, and manage cash flow efficiently. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax legislation, and company policies, implementing sound risk management. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, including one subordinate manager and two direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture. Audit & Reporting: Manage the annual external audit and prepare timely, accurate financial reports with insightful commentary. Performance Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and business strengths, providing strategic advice to executive management. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed Matric/Grade 12 Bachelors Degree in BCom Accounting, BCompt Accounting, or equivalent Professional membership with SAIPA or SAICA Xero experience would be beneficial
