Mechanical Metal Production Coordinator

Position Summary: The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations within the metal-mechanical division, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and bilingual fluency in English and Chinese to coordinate effectively across multinational teams and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise production teams to meet output, quality, and delivery goals Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders for metal-mechanical processes Coordinate with cross-functional departments (Quality, Engineering, Logistics, HR) to ensure smooth operations Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labor regulations Manage shift schedules, staffing levels, and training plans Communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking suppliers, engineers, and leadership Resolve production issues and escalate critical risks to senior management Maintain accurate production records, downtime reports, and performance evaluations Support audits and customer visits with professionalism and technical clarity Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in metal-mechanical or automotive sectors Experience in mechanical metal manufacturing Strong knowledge of machining, stamping, welding, and assembly processes Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese Experience with ERP systems, production planning tools, and Microsoft Office Proven leadership, problem-solving, and team development skills Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and EHS standards Preferred Skills: Experience working in a multinational manufacturing environment Ability to navigate cultural nuances and foster inclusive team dynamics Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus Strong communication and negotiation skills across languages and departments
