We’re now looking for our Finance Manager : someone who can own Luca’s financial operations across multiple countries, ensure compliance, manage cash with precision, and be a key partner in our next fundraising stage. What You’ll Be Doing Lead financial forecasting, cash flow, and treasury management Oversee payments, taxes, compliance, and legal obligations in Portugal, Spain, and Mexico Manage debt obligations, internal pricing, and financial reporting Ensure processes, systems, and controls are robust and scalable Partner with founder on fundraising and investor relations (equity and debt) Build dashboards and reporting structures that provide clarity and decision-making support Be the point of contact for auditors, banks, accountants, and external advisors You’ll Work Closely With The founder, to shape financial strategy and support fundraising Operations, to ensure payments and compliance flow smoothly People & Culture, to align on payroll, benefits, and incentive structures External auditors, tax advisors, and legal partners across jurisdictions What We’re Looking For 5 years of finance experience, ideally with a Big 4 background (Audit, Tax, or Advisory) Experience in an in-house finance role at a scale-up, multinational, or high-growth company Strong knowledge of treasury, taxation, compliance, and cross-border financial operations Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complexity across multiple jurisdictions Proven ability to balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking Bonus: experience assisting with fundraising rounds or M&A processes What We Offer Full-time, based in Mexico City A chance to own and build the finance function in a fast-scaling company Direct exposure to founders and leadership, with a path to grow into Head of Finance / CFO A culture of ownership, impact, and continuous learning The opportunity to shape how millions of students learn across Latin America Backing from world-class investors: Heartcore (Denmark) & Shilling (Portugal) About Luca Luca is the fastest-growing EdTech company in Mexico — and one of the most promising startups in Latin America.
