Responsibilities The position is located in the automatic machinery production department, in the Hardware and Software design team. The candidate, reporting directly to the Team Manager, will be responsible for developing and optimising software programmes for Industrial Automation Systems dedicated to the perfect operation of the machines under construction, guaranteeing their operational efficiency and safety. In addition, he/she will be required, once he/she has achieved a good degree of autonomy, to interface with customers on site in order to respond to the analysis of technical specifications and the coordination of activities among collaborators. Profile Candidates with a degree in Automation, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering will be considered; alternatively, technical graduates preferably with proven experience in the field of automation. Knowledge, even minimal, of industrial automation principles and programming languages of the main brands such as Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Beckhoff, B&R. Furthermore, we are looking for candidates with strong motivation to increase their technical skills, the ability to learn software languages and programming environments, good analysis and troubleshooting skills, a rigorous approach and the ability to organise work in an orderly and structured manner, and good interpersonal skills.
