Cassina R&d Project Manager - Maternity Leave

Responsibilities The Cassina Project Manager R&D, reporting to the Cassina Research & Development Director, will be involved in several projects linked to the realization of high-end products. Define the project analytical structure and ensure its implementation; Contribute to development and focuses on innovation and new solutions for product realization; Research and analyze new materials and processing techniques; Prepare the necessary documentation (sketches, technical drawings) for the realization of the prototypes; Supervise the development of prototypes ensuring compliance with the concept received by the designer; Analyze and formulate price and cost characteristics for new products under development; Provide all information to the Sales, Marketing and Press network for the correct understanding of the product characteristics; Write product development presentations to support the Brand activity; Contribute to the activities necessary for the functioning of the R&D Department. Qualifications / Experience Degree in Industrial Design or Architecture; Minimum work experience of 4-5 years in a furniture company / design studio with specialization in the furniture product; Ability to work in groups and by objectives; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Technical and Soft skills Fluent in English; Excellent knowledge of materials and construction techniques of furniture products; Excellent knowledge of technical drawing and related 2D / 3D software; Knowledge of graphics programs (Photoshop, Illustrator); Problem solving skills; Attention to details; Ability to manage time and prioritize work.
