Overview Delivery Lead - Banking & Insurance at Avanade. The Client Delivery Lead oversees the successful delivery of services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, client relations, and team leadership, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships; understand client needs and requirements and ensure these are effectively communicated to the delivery team; regularly update clients on project progress, manage expectations, and address issues promptly; collaborate with Sales Accounts to develop business with the client. Project Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards; develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage the delivery schedule; monitor project performance and report on progress and necessary adjustments. Team Leadership: Oversee a team of project managers, coordinators, and delivery staff; provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback; foster a collaborative and high-performance culture; manage multiple projects under pressure. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and implement best practices; drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Risk Management: Identify risks to project success, develop mitigation strategies, monitor and escalate risks and issues as necessary. Industry Knowledge: Understand the Banking and Insurance sector landscape, anticipate client needs, and identify new business opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in portfolio management, project management, or related roles within Banking and/or Insurance. Proven experience managing large-scale system integration projects. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello). About You / Skills Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions. Process Improvement: Drive delivery process improvements and continuous enhancement of client satisfaction and efficiency. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate when needed.
