At ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD S.A.U. in Tres Cantos- Madrid, we are currently seeking to fill the following position: The Photonics Department at ALTER TECHNOLOGY covers a wide range of activities oriented to provide confidence for the use of photonics components in space and other high-reliability applications. The services offered cover complete evaluation and qualification in space environment. As a member of the Photonics Test Laboratory, you will: Perform photonics components tests in accordance with the production plan, following standard operating procedures, test specifications and reporting. Measurement setups development. Debug optics and electronics testing problems, using laboratory equipment. Reports preparation and documentation using the available software tools. Carry out all other assigned tasks This is what we expect Knowledge and understanding of photonics and optoelectronics components. Ideally, knowledge of free space optical communications systems Experience with optoelectronics, photonics or semiconductor technology. Experience with laboratory equipment and measurement setups. Motivated and proactive attitude along with the capability to solve problems and to create and implement new technical solutions.
