Corporate Partner

Having recently celebrated their 20th anniversary, this full-service West End law firm is entering their next phase of strategic growth and are seeking a Corporate Partner. This firm has a global client base with a busy desk of work for you to hit the ground running. 60% of their corporate transactions have a cross-border element. They represent medium sized corporates and large family offices on the full range of corporate matters. Their clients include banks, finance houses and HNWIs. Typically, they work on deals between £5-£30m, though have worked on a £100m deal. You’ll be taking over a close-knit team. This means you’ll lead transactions and have lots of client contact. You’ll work closely with the firm’s real estate, banking and employment departments, all of which help compliment their corporate practice. You can shape the future direction of the team. This means helping with recruitment, delegating work and supervising juniors. There will be lots of variety - M&A, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, de-mergers and corporate governance matters. Ideal if you don’t want to be too specialised and maintain a broad corporate practice. As a firm that pride themselves on a quality, Partner-led service, you won’t be nailed to your desk churning out documents. You will attend networking events, seminars and contribute to business development. The firm has a flat hierarchy with an open-door policy. You’ll have junior resource and secretarial support to help you in running and deals, so you can concentrate on the complex matters. Hybrid working as standard. What you’ll need 8 PQE Corporate Solicitor. Qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales. Experience gained in private practice. Interested in finding out more?
