Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services. Key Responsibilities: Leadership of the Billing and Credit Control teams. Delivery of the Key Strategic Objective to deliver working capital improvements. Designing departmental objectives and ensuring the achievement of key KPIs aligned to organisation goals. Overseeing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance. Working with other Finance colleagues ensuring correct revenue recognition in line with relevant controls and internal policies. Collaborating with commercial and operations teams, to resolve billing disputes. Developing and implementing policies and procedures for both Billing and Credit Control. Supporting the debt collection process and dealing with escalations. Reducing overdue debt and unallocated cash. Requirements: Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar Senior Finance role, with specific expertise in Billing and Credit Control. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, revenue reconciliation and credit risk management. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities. Advanced Excel skills.
