Permanent Full Time Salary up to $74,332 per annum plus superannuation Exciting Opportunity to join a growth Council About the RoleWe have a fantastic opportunity within our Operational Engineering Maintenance team as a Leading Hand! We are currently seeking several self-motivated, enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join us, who have proven industry experience in road, drainage and infrastructure asset maintenance. The position may be suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and is comfortable in high-traffic areas where safety is a priority, whilst operating and maintaining tools, plant, and other equipment such as trucks, skid steers, quick cut saws and rollers. The successful appointees will be responsible for: Leading an engineering maintenance team. Operating and maintaining a variety of tools, plant and equipment. Undertaking maintenance of the City's road and drainage infrastructure. About youAs a key member of the Operational Engineering Maintenance team, the successful appointees should be adaptable and thrive working in a very busy and change driven organisation. Applicants must be able to demonstrate through their resume and cover letter that they meet the following essential criteria: Experience in leading a maintenance team. Proven knowledge of road and drainage infrastructure maintenance procedures. Experience in the operation and maintenance of multi-function plant and equipment. Proficiency with information systems and technology. Strong knowledge of Work, Health and Safety in the workplace including hazard identification in road and drainage infrastructure maintenance activities Main Roads WA Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Controller accreditation. MR class vehicle licence.
