This exciting full-time ongoing hybrid role works as part of the Governance and Executive Support branch at The Administrative Review Tribunal and can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth. Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is EL1 - $117,665 p.a. - $138,493 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%. About the opportunity This dynamic and fast paced role reports to the Director Executive Support and provides a range of executive support to Jurisdictional Area Leaders and List Leaders of the Tribunal. This includes support relating to key events, including Tribunal Advisory Committee meetings, adhoc reporting, preparation of briefs, presentations and speaking notes, travel arrangements and a range of administrative support. It’s a great opportunity to be exposed to a wide range of issues across the Tribunal. The Executive Support Team is a small, geographically diverse team and has a high-performance culture, striving for excellence and continual improvement. About you: To be successful you will have: Demonstrated ability to manage and implement change, generate new ideas and approaches, and promote a positive approach to dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity. Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive and complex information clearly and with confidence and tact, and adapt to the needs of different audiences. Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain productive relationships with senior stakeholders, work collaboratively to identify opportunities and achieve outcomes, and manage sensitive issues effectively. The ability to think strategically, provide expert advice and exercise sound judgement in a complex and changing environment. Proven capacity to deliver results, successfully lead or deliver complex projects, develop creative solutions, and manage risks appropriately. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, cultivate a culture of collaboration, and model standards of behaviour consistent with APS Values, APS Employment Principles and APS Code of Conduct. A sound understanding, or the ability to quickly acquire a sound understanding, of the Tribunal’s legislative and policy context, particularly in relation to the delivery of administrative support services to diverse users. Essential: Baseline Security Clearance – Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance The Tribunal requires Australian Citizenship as a condition of engagement. All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and a Health Assessment. Desirable: Relevant qualifications, training or experience related to one or more functions or powers of the Tribunal.
