FIFO from Perth to the Roy Hill mine - 7/7 day shift roster Performance, Retention and Profit Share bonuses Fly with Qantas with access to frequent flyer points and status credits Company contribution towards private health insurance About the role Hancock Iron Ore is currently seeking a Trainer Assessor - Autonomous Haulage Systems (AHS) to join the team based at the Roy Hill mine. Reporting to the Supervisor Training, you will play a key role in equipping our Autonomous workforce with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively operate equipment and perform role-specific tasks. You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose training materials that support a safe and productive autonomous mining environment. Working collaboratively with operational teams, you will help drive continuous improvement by executing training programs that upskill our people and ensure ongoing competence across the site. Duties: Develop, deliver and review fit-for-purpose training programs and materials for site personnel operating within the Autonomous Operating Zone, to support safe and productive autonomous mining operations Provide optimisation training on the AHS to drive consistent and productive operational outcomes Proactively identify and implement improvements to training methods and materials to enhance the effectiveness of AHS training programs Maintain accurate training records, assessments, and qualifications in the learning management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with operational teams, project teams, and subject matter experts to ensure training meets operational readiness and project objectives Plan and schedule training sessions in coordination with supervisors, ensuring efficient delivery to meet operational needs Support compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies, leading by example and promoting a strong safety culture across the workforce Skills and Experience Demonstrated Heavy Mining Equipment (HME) operating experience in a production environment with proficiency in Excavators, Dozers and Loaders Demonstrated experience operating an Autonomous Haulage System, preferably LinkOA in a mining environment Prior experience in an on-the-job training or line trainer role Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or working towards Proven experience delivering training programs and conducting assessments Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple deadlines effectively Confident in using learning management systems to support training delivery and competency management Open "C" Class Manual Licence or above Mine Facilities Modern, comfortable camp accommodation High quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options) Large fully equipped gym facility, as well as a gym specifically for females Heated outdoor swimming pool Beach Volleyball court and Golf simulators Village shop and extensive supporting amenities SWIFT in-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capability Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family About Hancock Iron Ore The world of iron ore is evolving, and so are we.
