Job Description
As a Developer for Diversus, you will be part of a team working on key projects for our highly recognised clients across a variety of industries. You will be challenged day to day by working on interesting projects requiring the use of key technologies and methodologies. This role will be working within a team to contribute to the scoping, development, support, and integration of new and existing enterprise applications in response to the organisation’s identified needs using agile and lean methods. This role is based in West Perth because we believe in the power of in-person connections. It’s about building and nurturing the relationships that are key to our success. So, while it’s not a remote role, it’s an opportunity to really make a difference on the ground. What You’ll Do As a Developer you will be focused on: Participate in the development of technical solutions, provide technical expertise, and recommend solutions that are practical and meet business requirements Create and agree on solution designs with relevant stakeholders using agile and lean methods Work closely with the development teams and management to deliver business outcomes to agreed timescales and budgets Contribute to all phases of a development work including analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, maintenance and/or administrative tasks Deploy software applications into the various development and testing environments using agreed continuous integration and continuous delivery processes and practices Develop and maintain appropriate automated tests Deploy software into production following agreed processes and procedures Diversus is defined by its agility, proactively adapting to the evolving demands of our clients, technological advancements, and the expectations of our internal stakeholders. What You’ll Bring Our ideal candidate will possess: Tertiary qualified and/or relevant industry certifications At least 3 years solid experience with Python, NET or NET core framework and ASP NET At least 2 years web front-end development experience At least 2 years development experience using Microsoft technologies Excellent working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular or React Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with business and technical personnel Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic teams Demonstrated experience with designing and maintaining complex systems High desirable attributes include: Exposure to mobile application development Exposure to Microsoft SharePoint or Office 365 configuration or development Exposure to MS Dynamics 365 Experience with web content management platforms Working knowledge with MVC Working knowledge with reporting services or similar platforms Familiarity with graphical design tools Exposure with working in agile development environment Why you’ll want to apply You get to work on interesting projects for some of WA’s most recognised and largest companies across a variety of industries, solutions, and domains.
