Role Overview: Amora Riverwalk Melbourne is seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our team. This role will focus on building, developing and maintaining client relationships and selling the hotel as a total concept, ensuring maximum business in all areas including rooms, conferences, food and beverage. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the event and corporate sales sectors. Collaborate closely with the Sales team to achieve preset KPIs and objectives . Identify new clients through market research, networking and outreach. Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction. Represent Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel. Sell the Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne as a total concept, ensuring maximum business in all areas including rooms, conferences, food and beverage. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business. Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics. Qualifications and Experience: Proven success in a comparable role with minimum 2 years’ experience . Experience in managing new and existing key customer relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools. Strong research and analytical abilities. A proactive and results-oriented approach.
