You’ll be the go-to advisor, helping navigate HR and IR challenges and ensuring smooth and compliant practices across Canada and the US. Key responsibilities include: Providing advice and coaching to managers on day-to-day people management and employee relations issues Leading performance management and disciplinary processes in line with legislation Coordinating Workers’ Compensation and return-to-work programs Advising on employment contracts, policy interpretation, and compliance Supporting workforce planning and retention initiatives Building strong connections with frontline teams and managers to understand workforce needs Reporting on HR trends to support leadership decisions Who We’re Looking For A qualified HR professional (bachelor’s degree in human resources or similar required) HR experience within fast-paced, operational environments Confident with Australian employment law – bonus if you have knowledge of Canadian/US legislation (not essential, training provided) Someone proactive, adaptable, and excited to take their career abroad A great communicator who builds trust and strong relationships with teams and leaders 2-year commitment with options to extend Why Join Mader?
