These are robust, high-support environments for clients with complex mental health needs, psychosocial, intellectual and physical disabilities, and in some cases, a history with the criminal justice system. We are seeking confident, proactive, and dependable Support Workers who can thrive in complex settings. This role is best suited to individuals who are: Comfortable working with clients who display behaviours that challenge, including verbal and physical aggression. Follow behaviour support, restrictive practices and client care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site managers. Encourage capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely. Provide person centered active support | personal care with dignity and respect. To be competent in your computer/ IT skills and report writing! We require staff to work on a 24/7 rotating roster so applicants must have full working rights and be able to work AM/PM and overnight shifts. Some of our requirements: We are aware there are quite a few compliance checks (listed below) for this role however, what’s important to us is that you have regular access to your own car and a P2 NSW Drivers License or higher and flexible availability across a 24/7 roster which may include, mornings (6am-2pm), afternoons (2pm-10pm), active nights (10pm-6am) and SO shifts.
