Oversee daily operations in our Edinburgh factory, being responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing performance of the factory. Supportive working culture. About the role Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for three core areas of the factory. Responsible for production schedules being met efficiently, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. Driving a positive, safe and high-performing workplace culture. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Supervise and coordinate daily workflow across assembly, machine operations and fabrication teams. Ensure production targets and quality standards are met in line with production schedules. Lead, train, and support team members while promoting a strong safety culture. Monitoring efficiency, equipment utilisation, and material flow to minimise downtime. Support process improvements through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Effective communication with management. About you You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will demonstrate: Proven experience in a factory or production team leader/supervisor role (steel manufacturing highly regarded). Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage diverse teams. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, WHS practices and quality control. Effective problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making under time constraints. Strong communication, people management and interpersonal skills. Understanding of the lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Tertiary degree in Engineering or related field is not essential, but highly desirable.
