Boilermaker / Welder

About the role Peninsula Engineering is seeking a skilled Boilermaker / Welder to join our team in Mornington. The position is full time with some on-site work What you'll be doing Perform welding, fabrication with structural steel Read and interpret structural shop drawings Operate a variety of welding equipment, hand and power tools safely and effectively Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all safety procedures What we're looking for Qualified boilermaker or experienced welder with a background in structural steel Proficiency in a range of welding techniques, including MIG, and ARC welding Proficiency in use of oxy / acetelyne (cutting, straightening beams etc) Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment White card and experience operating other machinery would be highly regarded What we offer At Peninsula Engineering, we value our employees and offer a range of benefits to support your career development and overall wellbeing.
