With the launch of Eacon Mining Technology Australia Pty Ltd in December 2023 and with the significant milestones of 2024, we have not only established our new office in West Perth but have also expanded collaboration with our partners and clients. We are rapidly growing, and as such, we are looking for talented professionals to join our thriving team in Perth. We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant/ Office Administrator who will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the company. This position is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of accounting and office administration who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic and technical industry. Working towards CA/CPA qualification will be well regarded. The successful candidate will provide support to our Chief Financial Officer with day-to-day accounting and office administrative tasks. The role is offered on a part-time permanent basis working 3-4 days a week. Key Responsibilities of the role are outlined belo2: Accounting Duties Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims Reconcile bank statements and corporate credit card accounts Process various journals, including department, project, and general ledger journals Assistance with Balance Sheet reconciliation Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities Assistance with the preparation of budgets and forecasts Assist in external and internal audit tasks Assistance with preparation of tax lodgements including BAS, Payroll Tax, Company Income Tax and R&D Tax Incentive claim etc Perform any other accounting duties as required Office Administrative Duties Maintain office supplies, provide general office administrative support. Support PPE order, flights & accommodation booking for FIFO team Possible coordination of travel arrangements and meeting logistics Assist visa application for overseas visitors form parent company Support internal communications and document distribution Perform any other administrative duties as required. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field 1-2 years of experience in a similar role Demonstrated understanding of core accounting principles and compliance with Australian financial regulations. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with accounting software (preferably Xero, MYOB) Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Confident communicator with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
