Design Manager - Mixed-use Towers

This major industry player is an established and successful luxury developer and lifestyle brand. The group has recently experienced rapid growth within residential and mixed-use sectors. This is the chance you’ve been waiting for to move from architecture into client-side Design Management! Join their growing design team and contribute to projects from start to finish. As a Design Manager, you will help continue to push the boundaries of what is possible in design, always challenging the norm to create amazing buildings and spaces. This role will take lead of projects from a design process, in terms of vision, creation and delivery across all business units. Key Responsibilities Work with marketing stakeholders on vision to align with design. Coordinate and lead consultant team members through all design stages Assist in the preparation of project briefs and development briefs. Analyse and critique a set of architectural drawings to optimise design benchmarks Coordinate consultant inputs for TP and VCAT submissions. Demonstrate an understanding of the businesses key design pillars Coordinate, prepare and assist in the review of marketing collateral Assist the sales team where design customisations are required Assist the delivery team in the resolution of onsite project matters, review mock-ups, prototype apartments and defect reviews when required Submission of drawings, drawing reviews and comments, responding to RFIs and resolving site issues for projects under construction Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in Architecture or equivalent Min 10 years of experience in architecture or development, within a front-end project capacity across luxury high-rise and mixed-use developments Solid understanding of local planning codes, relevant building contracts and the ability to prepare a feasibility drawing set which addresses these Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally Strong problem solving skills Appreciation for brand and vision within the luxury design space Benefits & Culture Social and collaborative culture with a flat hierarchy Quality, high-end luxury projects Be invested in and valued Competitive remuneration REFERENCE CP 70352 If the above position appeals to you then please submit your CV and portfolio (no more than 10mb PDF attachment) to bespokecareers.com and we'll be in touch.
