As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales & Customer Service Officer to join our retail team. About the role You will be the first point of contact for prospective and returning customers. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring strong product knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and a genuine passion for helping people explore the great outdoors. You’ll work closely with internal departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer journey from inquiry to delivery — and beyond. This full-time role is based in the South-Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne and operates on a rotating roster, Monday to Saturday (5 days per week / 38 hours). You’ll be part of a supportive team environment where no two days are the same — and your efforts make a real difference to our customers’ journeys. Immediate start available for the right candidate. What you'll be doing Provide high-quality customer service in person, over the phone, and via email Manage retail sales enquiries, prepare quotations, and process orders accurately Assist customers throughout the full sales process — from initial enquiry to order fulfilment Maintain strong product knowledge across a wide range of caravans and RV accessories Accurately complete all sales and service documentation and maintain detailed customer records Support showroom presentation, merchandising, and assist walk-in customers Coordinate with production, logistics, and aftersales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Identify and act on opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products and services Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals Contribute to the development of sales strategies and continuous improvement initiatives Assist with promotions, retail events, and stock display management Provide general administrative support to the sales team as required What we're looking for Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales or customer service role — experience in the caravan, automotive, marine, or retail sectors is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine rapport with customers Proven ability to close sales, meet targets, and thrive in a consultative sales environment Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the confidence to think on your feet Comfortable using CRM systems, POS software, and the Microsoft Office suite A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to business growth Knowledge of, or interest in, caravans, RVs, or the outdoor lifestyle is a strong advantage Why Join Us: Competitive Salary Incentives Career Development & Growth Opportunities Supportive & Friendly Team Environment Employee Wellbeing Programs
