Opportunity Focusing on actively promoting a positive safety culture and reporting to the Project Manager, this position is: FIFO from Perth Permanent - Full Time8/6 or 2/2 Family Friendly Rosters 4/3 roster- Ideal for Perth and Kalgoorlie candidatesAttractive Salary Package Tasks & Responsibilities Communicate (written/verbal) clearly and concisely at all levelsConduct Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification activitiesHaving conversations that reiterate the required WHS behavioursDevelop and maintain internal and external relationshipsMaintain the Site Training Matrix, ensuring it is up to date and easily available to Site ManagementEnsure audits and inspections are undertaken in accordance with site and legislative requirementsEnsure all incidents are reported, recorded, escalated, and then investigated as per MLG requirementsSupport the MLG Injury Management process Desired Skills And Experience Qualifications & experience Australia based candidatesCertificate IV or Diploma OHS/WHSCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)Current Australian Driver's LicenceAbility to pass a Pre-employment medical DASUse of Safety Management Software (MYOSH or similar)Knowledge and understanding of regulatory framework for Work Health and Safety (state and national)ICAM Investigation TrainedWorking Knowledge of Injury Management and Return to Work requirementsActing as the first point of contact for WHS queries and adviceStrong knowledge of Microsoft OfficePassion for safety management Does this sound like you?
