Estimator – Groundworks Location: Devon or Cornwall Permanent Role Salary - £55,000-£65,000 DOE We are working with a well-established contractor who are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team, specialising in groundworks projects across Devon and Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a proven background in estimating within the construction and civil engineering sector. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing accurate cost estimates for groundworks and civil engineering projects * Analysing drawings, specifications, and project requirements * Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive and accurate tenders * Supporting the commercial and operations teams throughout the project lifecycle * Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options Requirements: * Proven experience as an Estimator within groundworks or civil engineering * Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry regulations * Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in estimating software and MS Office * Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines * Strong communication and negotiation skills On Offer: * Competitive salary package, dependent on experience * Opportunity to join a reputable and growing contractor in the South West * Long-term career development and progression opportunities * Supportive and collaborative working environment If you are an experienced Groundworks Estimator based in Devon or Cornwall and looking for your next career move, we’d love to hear from you.
