Project - the aim you'll have We are looking for a Senior Data Science to join one of our USA Clients, a start-up working on an exciting climate change project. You will be part of a dynamic team building an AI-powered analytics and data platform to help reduce the carbon footprint of industrial manufacturing. Your work will focus on our back-end data pipeline and analytics stack, and you will be responsible for building a range of features and data services, from exploratory prototypes to robust, hardened production implementations. Responsibilities Responsible for building and maintaining back-end data pipelines and analytics services. Contribute to exploratory prototypes and develop robust, production-ready implementations. Work across unfamiliar data domains to quickly build understanding and deliver value. Communicate insights effectively through dashboards and data storytelling. Qualifications 7 years of experience in data science, applied analytics, or adjacent roles. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Computational Statistics, or a related technical field. Proven ability to work across unfamiliar data domains and quickly build understanding. Experience in industrial / manufacturing data (energy, process, or climate-related) is a plus. Strong programming skills in Python, with experience writing production-quality code. Proven data analysis and statistics foundation—able to recognize what makes a “good” analysis even if the AI is doing the heavy lifting. Experience designing dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights effectively. Strong critical thinking, problem-framing, and hypothesis-driven analysis. Excellent communication skills with a talent for data storytelling. Intellectual curiosity and ability to adapt quickly to new problem spaces. Comfort working in fast-paced, startup-style environments. Nice to have Familiarity with modern AI / LLM tools and workflows. Prior experience configuring or extending agent-based or automated analytics systems. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and data engineering concepts. Understanding of manufacturing and / or energy-related industrial challenges.
